Waiting Again has been accepted into the Oil Painter of America's 2008 Eastern Regional Juried Exhibition.


    Turquoise Pot with Pears was accepted into the Salon International 2008 exhibit at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio TX


    Shades of Green won an award of merit in the South Hills Art League Juried Exhibit. The juror was Steve Mendelson of Mendelson Gallery in Shadyside.


    Cantelope and Grapes won 4th place in the Upper St Clair League for the Arts Spring Juried Show. The juror was Michael Hertrich of LaFond Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA.

    I recently attended an amazing week long work shop with David Leffel at the Fredericksburg Artist School in Texas.

    David Leffel has been called a "20th Century Old Master," and a master of chiaroscuro, shadow and light. It was truly an honor to be able to attend this workshop with such a great artist. We watched him paint two demos of a still life and a portrait as well as had individual critiques of our work. I tried to absorb as much as I could from this master of painting and hope I can incorporate what I learned into my art. Painting is a continual process of learning and relearning. A good artist is always trying to get better.
